Welcome to visit us at Interpack 2023! We will showcase our SHIELDPLUS® product range for flexible packaging. SHIELDPLUS® is our game-changing recyclable fibre-based material with a water-based barrier coating. The showcased products are SHIELDPLUS 58, SHIELDPLUS BR 60 and SHIELDPLUS Graphic 65.
The full range is certified for various kinds of foodstuffs - not only dry foods but even moist and fatty foods. With the SHIELDPLUS® material packaging industry can reduce the number of layers in flexible packaging and thus simplify the converting process.
SHIELPLUS® – barrier without plastics and aluminium
SHIELDPLUS® is based on technology in which material made of wood-based fibres is coated with a water-based barrier layer. The SHIEDPLUS grades are made from FSC certified pulp. SHIELDPLUS® has excellent barrier properties against water vapour, oxygen, aromas, greases, mineral oils and solvents. All the grades can be coated with an optional heat sealant layer by the converters.
Our flexible packaging material range includes recyclable and biodegradable alternatives. SHIELDPLUS® grades have excellent barrier properties against water vapour and oxygen in normal conditions. Grades are available in a bleached white finish and unbleached brown finish. For applications which require optimal printing performance, we have the recyclable SHIELDPLUS® Graphic.
