Splicing

  • Splices are joined by using black paper tape. The distance between splices is a minimum of 500 m the beginning and the end of the roll included. The maximum allowed number of splices in one jumbo roll is two. The amount of splices is shown on the jumbo roll label.


Markings on the edge of the roll

One edge of the roll is stamped with

  • an arrow indicating the unwinding direction
  • paper grade


Packing and palletizing

Each jumbo roll is wrapped in kraft paper and placed on a wooden pallet covered with a corrugated board including a PE film inside the structure for increased moisture protection. The roll is wrapped on the pallet with polyethylene film and a wooden lid is strapped on to the top of the roll with two plastic bands.
