The thermal paper producer Jujo Thermal Ltd, located in Kauttua in south-western Finland, will strengthen its position as a global supplier of direct thermal papers. The direct thermal paper market has been growing steadily and is expected to continue to grow in the future.
Jujo Thermal Ltd will invest in increased coating capacity. The output of the new coating machine will double the total capacity to approximately 70.000 tons/a. The coater will start during first half of 2006.
Jujo Thermal Ltd is a Finnish-Japanese joint-venture between Ahlstrom Oyj, Nippon Paper Industries Co., Ltd and Mitsui & Co., Ltd. Jujo Thermal was established in 1992.
Jujo Thermal Ltd is a leading manufacturer of direct thermal papers for self-adhesive laminates within the retail and logistic use and also an important supplier of high quality direct thermal papers for cash receipt, fax and special applications. The turnover of the company is 56 MEUR and the number of personnel is 88.
