Jujo Thermal Ltd, a Finland-based manufacturer of specialty papers, announces a change in its management. The company’s Board of Directors and Christian Ivars, President & CEO, have jointly agreed that he will step down from his position. The Board of Directors has appointed Peter Hutton, 55, B.Sc. (Econ.), the new President & CEO of Jujo Thermal. Christian Ivars will be at the disposal of the Board of Directors during a transition period.
Peter Hutton is a Finnish citizen and joins Jujo Thermal from the position of Managing Director of Gilbarco-Autotank Group. Prior to that, he has held several senior management positions at Raisio Group, Hercules Chemical Group and Kymmene Corporation.
Jujo Thermal’s Board of Directors would like to express its sincere thanks to Christian Ivars for his very valuable contribution and commitment to the company as its President & CEO during the past ten years and wish him all the best in his future endeavors.
Jujo Thermal is one of the world’s leading suppliers of direct thermal paper and one-side-coated self-adhesive label facestock. It also produces other selected specialty paper grades. The company was established in 1992 and its production line is located in Kauttua, Finland. Jujo Thermal employs approximately 230 people and its net sales amounted to EUR 100 million in 2008. The company’s shareholders are Ahlstrom (41.7%), Nippon Paper Industries (41.7%) and Mitsui & Co. (16.6 %).
