JTK Green is Jujo Thermal’s promise of doing our best for a greener nature and better future. It means we are continuously reducing the consumption of energy, favouring the use of energy from sustainable sources and respecting nature in every respect.
As a method, thermal printing is ecological. The equipment is small in size, reliable and consumes relatively little energy. Thermal printing creates less waste than other technologies.
Thermal paper is also completely recyclable. It decomposes cleanly and poses no problems when incinerated. All JTK products and packaging material are recyclable.
Jujo Thermal has been granted FSC and PEFC chain of custody certification as well as the respected Scandinavian Nordic Swan ecolabel. All pulp used for JTK products is elementary chlorine free (ECF). Quality and environmental management systems are in progress to be certified under ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards.
